The iPhone App client supports “reports on-the-go”. This type of client is ideal for those type of use cases where up-to-the minute reports must be available all the time and anywhere. The iPhone App provides access to a list of reports from which the user can select the one he needs to run next.
Reports On-The-Go
Some reports are so important that access to those is necessary at any time, including mobile smart phones. The next Figure shows a report on the iPhone.
Report Selection
The iPhone App supports the selection of a report from a list of reports. The next Figure shows the list. By clicking on the list entry the corresponding report is executed on the Analytica server and displayed.
iPhone Report Definition
In terms of reports, they do not have to specifically defined for the iPhone or other mobile devices. Instead, reports, once defined, are available to all types of clients.
However, in order to make it most convenient, the iPhone App allows the user to defined reports also, not just display them. So if a user is in need of a specific report that has not been defined yet, the user can define that missing report using the mobile device.
